Pack Sizes

Indications

Cattle
Undetectable estrus
(silent estrus)

  • In cows at peak lactation there is a poor manifestation of estrus, despite normal ovarian activity. In these cases, females should be evaluated by rectal palpation to confirm the presence of a corpus luteum. After confirmation, treat them with 2 mL of Clocio and observe the heat before insemination.
  • It is important to emphasize that before introducing any animal into a reproductive program, this animal must be evaluated, especially in relation to its body and nutritional status.
  • The effectiveness of the product is related to the presence of a functional corpus luteum, therefore Clocio should not be applied to animals that are before the 5th day post-estrus or after the 16th day post-estrus.

Below are two examples of programs that can be used:

  1. After performing an examination that proves the existence of a corpus luteum (rectal palpation or ultrasound), apply a dose of Clocio and the next time heat is detected, proceed with artificial insemination or natural mating.
  2. Perform the heat observation for six consecutive days and apply a dose of Clocio on the sixth day of observation. in animals that have not presented heat. In the next heat, proceed with artificial insemination or natural mating.

Normally the response to a single dose of Clocio occurs up to six days after application of the product.
